The boutique is very well versed in trade union matters and collective negotiations and has created a task force dedicated to manage hot reputational issues and other highly sensitive criminal employment law issues. The firm has also been assisting clients with Covid-19-related matters. MGG Voltaire is the result of the January 2020 merger of two highly reputed boutique employment practices, MGG Legal and Voltaire. The newly created 25-lawyer firm now combines a strong international network and a German desk with three French offices in Paris, Lyon and Lille. The practice brings together two teams highly experienced in dealing with crisis management and other sensitive situations including strikes and workforce reduction. Recently, the group worked on a high-profile restructuring project, advised a client on post Macron reform issues and assisted a client with complex collective negotiations. The practice also has strong know-how in dealing with M&A-related matters and dismissal and hiring top management officers.
