2022 Edition / TIER 2

MGG Voltaire demonstrates particular strength in crisis management and special situations. The boutique is very well versed in trade union matters and collective negotiations and has created a task force dedicated to manage hot reputational issues and other highly sensitive criminal employment law issues. The firm has also been assisting clients with Covid-19-related matters. New social and environmental responsibility issues as well as ethics and equal treatment matters are a growing line of work, with the conduct of audits and the setting up of guidelines and policies accounting for the bulk of matters in this area. M&A- and LBO-related work, as well as advice on major transformation projects involving important collective redundancies, continue to be a mainstay. The French boutique also offers strong international capabilities, thanks to its large alliance network and its internal German desk. 2020 Edition / TIER 3

MGG Voltaire is the result of the January 2020 merger of two highly reputed boutique employment practices, MGG Legal and Voltaire. The newly created 25-lawyer firm now combines a strong international network and a German desk with three French offices in Paris, Lyon and Lille. The practice brings together two teams highly experienced in dealing with crisis management and other sensitive situations including strikes and workforce reduction. Recently, the group worked on a high-profile restructuring project, advised a client on post Macron reform issues and assisted a client with complex collective negotiations. The practice also has strong know-how in dealing with M&A-related matters and dismissal and hiring top management officers. Marijke Granier-Guillemarre, Loïc Héron, David Guillouet, François Hubert, Anne Vincent-Ibarrondo, Xavier Blunat and Philippe Pachoud make up the partnership.

Clients include Exide, Eiffage, Saint Gobain and XPO. The practice is developed by David Guillouet, Anne Vincent-Ibarrondo, Xavier Blunat, Philippe Pachoud and François Hubert. The firm has offices in Paris, Lille and Lyon.
